Abstract

|
Purpose: This study is to report of the effect of oriental treatments to urinary infection in hyperemesis gravidarum. Methods: Hyperemesis gravidarum is a severe and intractable from of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. And urinary infection is frequent medical cause of hospitalization, during the course of pregnancy. Hyperemesis gravidarum and urinary Infection is associated with risk to the mother and fetus. We treated a patient who had urinary infection in hyperemesis gravidarum at Se- Myung university Oriental Hospital in affiliation by herbal medication, acupuncture and moxibustion. After the treatment, we got good result. Results: After the treatment, symptoms are remarkably alleviated. Conclusion: It is effective to cure the urinary infection in hyperemesis gravidarum through the herb-medication and acupuncture treatment.
